About Us

Bricks for Education is a non-profit organization in Uganda that focuses on providing opportunities for young men from the streets to build brighter futures. We believe in the transformative power of education and employment in breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness. We are a Nonprofit education project that harnesses the potential of our youth and provides them with the tools they need to succeed. The young men are empowered with brickmaking skills training such that they can earn income to attain formal education.

How It Works:

The profits generated from the sale of our high-quality bricks directly fund the education and training of the youth involved in the brick-making process. Young men acquire valuable skills in brick production to gain access to formal education. The program is designed to support our participants’ personal and professional growth. This is brick production for social good.

The Contribution of PROJECT NEW BEGINNING

Uganda and Africa have a vast number of people who have been directly affected by the high rate of poverty. Some of these people lack access to clean water and have been seriously affected by Covid 19, and all sorts of disasters. To mitigate this and improve lives, Project New Beginning will buy a piece of land with a space of about 7 acres. On it, we shall set up offices, a Church, staff quarters, a technical school, a farm, and drill a community well. This is just a sneak peek into our plan to better lives, so we need your help to support education by buying bricks.

Our Mission

At Bricks for Education, our mission is twofold: To provide quality education to marginalized youth and to create sustainable livelihoods through brick production. We have invested in a state-of-the-art brick-making machine. This machine is capable of producing hollow blocks, concrete bricks, fly ash bricks, pavers, and more. We carry out brick production for social good to extend empowerment and opportunities for the young men in our program.
